Quick Easy Bread

Ingredients
- 3 cups all-purpose flour (or bread flour)
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 ¼ cups milk (warm, ~110°F / 45°C)
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 large egg
Optional: Herbs, garlic powder, or shredded cheese for flavor
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder.
- In another bowl, whisk together milk, melted butter, and egg.
- Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients and stir until combined. Do not overmix.
- Pour batter into greased loaf pan and smooth the top.
- Bake 35–40 minutes, or until the top is golden and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let cool for 10 minutes before slicing.
✅ Tip: Quick bread uses baking powder, so no long rise is needed. Enjoy warm with butter!
